Dr. Beatrice Tatem earned her doctorate in counseling psychology at Western Michigan University, and is the director of counseling services at Mississippi State University. In addition to her clinical work she possesses a strong interest in multi-cultural education and issues, particularly as they relate to ethnicity, culture, and ethics. She is active in campus activities and programs at MSU, and values community service as well as working with campus professionals. Her personal interests include a love for music, art, theatre, and traveling, as well as spending time with family and friends.
