Linda T. Coats is the Interim Department Head and an associate professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Mississippi State University. Holding degrees from Mississippi State University and Jackson State University, Dr. Coats has spent more than twenty years as a classroom instructional leader. Her research focuses on effective teaching-learning styles, experiences of African American students, and Jeanes Teachers.
