Curriculum Vita
Professor Uzoigwe is a specialist in African History. He received his doctoral degree from Christ Church, Oxford University, England. Professor Uzoigwe has published 10 books, which include Britain and the Conquest of Africa: the Age of Salisbury by the University of Michigan Press in 1974. His recent scholarship, Visions of Nationhood: Prelude to the Nigrian Civil War, is forthcoming. He has also written over 100 articles in major national and international journals and book chapters. He is on the editorial boards of 12 academic journals. He has also taught at several universities in the United States and in Africa, including the University of Nigeria, Cornell University, and Tulane University.
